When I saw these in the store, I went looking for reviews. I found a few reviews on Amazon, but nothing that got into detail, so I decided to do my own review for anybody interested in this blade. My own use very often entails cutting somewhat heavy metal (up to 1" thick). This blade might be better on thinner metal or sheet, but I don't have a lot of need for that. I also have other ways of cutting copper (miter saw with a carbide blade, for one). Not only did it take a lot longer to cut, but it really bogged down the angle grinder, and was just a whole lot more work to use it.
Rogue Engineer tests the #DemoDemonAmped and rips 80+ feet of some very tough soffit material. See more on http://www.demodemonamped.com/
http://www.coptool.com/cermet-2-vs-carbide-metal-cutting-saw-blades/ - Freud Diablo upgrades their most popular metal cutting saw blades in 8", 12" and 14" going from tungsten carbide to cermet 2 carbide. The result is longer blade life, more resistant to heat and ability to cut all ferrous with one blade including steel and stainless steel.
