See all our Bridle Leather Belts Here https://equsit.co.uk/2QnyK1q See the Bridle Leather Lined and Raised Belt shown in this film here https://equsit.co.uk/2A1xx4M The Bridle Leather Lined and Raised Belt is one of our oldest and best known designs, a belt entirely made by hand, that is made for and with a love for craft more than any other motive. Each belt has around 1000 stitches, depending on length, and represents a day of work for the craftsman who makes it. Whilst the design is simple in its conception, it takes years to develop and refine the techniques necessary to make one and a single slip at the wrong moment can destroy a days work, making this a true test of the craftsman's skill, nerve and patience. In an age where luxury is often defined only by a logo and price tag an Equus belt is different, handmade, hand stitched quality, made to last, made with passion and craftsmanship, not with a machine. #handsnotmachines #thinkdifferently
Today I'm going to attempt to solve this extremely challenging, level 10 Lotus Box puzzle! The object of the Lotus is to find the Lotus Flower. BUY PUZZLES HERE: http://bit.ly/2gcfgMe To do this you need to remove an aluminum circular disc with a rod running through the centre. But if you think you've done the puzzle by then you're very much mistaken. The Lotus is based on the Yen Puzzle which was invented by Wil back in 1979. That puzzle had a wooden frame with a nail in it that held a Japanese Yen Coin. This new puzzle is beautifully machined from anodised blue aluminum and has additional secrets not found in the original design. Those secrets are where the puzzle gets it's name Lotus Flower and until you understand the reason for the name it can be said you have not solved the puzzle. The design and creation process of the Lloyd Coat wallet has been a long one. Based upon the design of a 1950s wallet owned by Charlie's (our Creative Director) Grandfather, the first and most important part of our job was not to spoil the beautiful lines of the original, but to bring the design up to date, the original having been designed in a world before credit cards or other such things. A design on paper isn't the end of the story though, and the complex shapes and construction had to be brought together into a single beautiful object, with each element adding to the form, as well as the function of the finished piece. The result is a traditional wallet, the largest in our Lloyd series, but sharing the same beautiful curves that run throughout. Each one takes more than a days work to create, with every stitch meticulously done by hand, but we hope as a result will be passed down the generation as was the original the design is based on.
