I purchased this jacket in March 2017 and was used for 1-2 weeks of that winter season, It was my go to piece for 2017-2018 Winter. Jacket shown is in Dark Compas Size Large 8.4 oz. It is made with Mountain Hardwear's ultralight yet super durable 7D face fabric, which provides wind resistance and some level of water resisitance. It utilizes DWR coating to both the face fabric, and the individual down plumes, known as the trademark Q Shied. I included footage with some actual outdoor use taken Dec 25th 2017 of the jacket in windy conditions. Overall this jacket still remains one of my favorites. Sadly this one was sent back to the manufacturer due to some warranty issues. I will be making a video update on how that turns out, which I believe should be a part of all my reviews moving forward.

Mountain Hardwear knows Brooklyn has been cold and I have some shoots coming up in the cold (Detroit, Vegas, LA) so they sent a few jackets for me to test out and wow: 1) They are stretchy so very comfy. 2) They have a waterproofing on the down which keeps them warm even in rain. 3) You can wash them at home. 4) Stylish. They aren't cheap but if you need to add a down jacket to your wardrobe, definitely look at the Stretch Down: https://www.mountainhardwear.com/mens-stretchdown-jacket-1756271.html?cgid=stretchDown and Stretch Down DS: https://www.mountainhardwear.com/mens-stretchdown-ds-hooded-jacket-1732001.html Follow me here and on Insta (www.instagram.com/bhaz) as I travel the world driving all kinds of cars, meeting cool people and eating amazing food.

We were able to get our hands on the Ghost Whisperer for a great deal so we decided to give it a shot. Both are a Men's size Medium. The black color is called Sharkskin and the greenish color (with the blue interior lining) is called Thunderhead Grey.
Ghost Whisperer Down Jacket. Shiny. Soft. Feels awesome.
