IoT Assistance in a Smart Factory using Microsoft HoloLens with Mixed Reality

This Video shows the assistance of a machine operator at the rework station of the Smart Factory AutFab of the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt with the help of Mixed Reality using the Microsoft HoloLens. The HoloLens communicates with the AutFab via an OPC UA Client which runs parallel to a 3D Animation on the HoloLens. The 3D-Animation created with Unity 3D shows the operator exactly all steps to correct the current error. The operator can advance from step to the next within the rework process, either by virtual clicks or by voice control.
