The Reds are keen on the Moroccan midfielder after his nine assists and 13 assists in the Eredivisie Liverpool have made a more aggressive approach for Ajax star Hakim Ziyech in a bid to edge out rivals Everton to land the Moroccan. The 25-year-old has also been linked with Roma, Lyon and Borussia Dortmund. But the Reds appear to be in pole position, report Calcio Mercato.
Naby Keïta was pictured in Liverpool on Friday as he nears a £62 million move after talks last season ensured the Reds would pay a premium to sign him this summer. As we all remember from last summer, RB Leipzig proved fierce negotiators last summer and resisted Liverpool’s advances only to agree to sell the Guinean a year later. While fans were bleak about not being able to see Keïta in action during the 2017/18 season, he is set to arrive at the club in the next week and be officially announced as a Liverpool player. With his arrival at the club imminent, it makes sense that he would be in the city soon and on Friday he was pictured on Merseyside, sparking excitement among supporters on social media.========================================================= References: -https://www.rousingthekop.com/2018/06/23/naby-keita-pictured-liverpool-62m-move/

Lazio have a great recent record when it comes to signing squad players from Liverpool and transforming them into some of Serie A’s best. Lucas Leiva moved to the Stadio Olimpico last summer after a year of warming the Anfield bench and making sporadic appearances as a makeshift centre-back. At Lazio, however, the Brazilian enjoyed arguably the best season of his career and proved that he is more than just a limited ball-winner. 12 months earlier, Luis Alberto swapped Merseyside for the Italian capital and you would be hard pushed to find a better creative midfielder in Serie A last season. The Spaniard scored 12 and set up 21 in all competitions. So will Liverpool really risk making the same mistake as Lazio aim to sign Marko Grujic, according to Il Tempo? The Serbian was tipped for big things when he arrived from Red Star Belgrade for £5.1 million (The Mail) and, despite making just a smattering of appearances, is still highly rated by the Anfield crowd.========================================================= References: -http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/06/12/do-offer-grujic-plus-60m-liverpool-fans-dreaming-of-sergej-milin/
Liverpool are in the hunt for Cagliari star Nicolo Barella and are ready to table a bid for the highly-rated 21-year-old, according to La Nuova Sardegna.
The Italian regional newspaper report that Barella is on the radar of several big clubs this summer, with Chelsea and Roma also eyeing up the young central midfielder.
La Nuova Sardegna claim that Cagliari will only accept a bid of £35million for their prize asset, who scored six goals in 35 appearances in all competitions in 2017/18.
Good move for Liverpool?
There is no doubt that Barella is one of Italy’s rising stars, with the 21-year-old playing a massive part in helping Cagliari stave off relegation in 2017/18.
The young midfielder is a brilliant all-round midfielder, with the Italy Under-21 international possessing a good passing range while being strong in the tackle.
While his natural instincts are geared towards attack, Barella did a stellar job for Cagliari in a more central and defensive midfield role in the past season.=========================================================
