22 SECRET GIRLS TRICKS THAT NO MAN SHOULD KNOW

SECRET GIRLS TRICKS Shadowing your hair is having a major moment, thanks to Instagram. We tried this ridiculously simple trend on three raven-haired ladies to show you how it's done. Pick your favorite shadow, and give this look a go! When you've got dark hair, and you want to try unicorn hair color in a non-committal way (read: no bleach), you're not really left with a ton of options. Most temporary chalks and dyes on the market don't really work on your strands because they don't make enough of an impact to actually show up. At best, that pretty aqua will just look like a blackened blue on your strands. Bummertown, am I right? So, when I started hearing buzz about using eyeshadows in your hair to sub as full-on color, I was immediately interested. Apparently, the shades inject your hair with a visible pop of color that shows up on even the inkiest of black strands. And, with a few crafty tricks, it will supposedly actually stay put for more than five minutes. Best of all, no bleach or dyes of any type to futz with. To test that theory, I grabbed three of our raven-haired coworkers — all with distinct hair types — to see if this was the real deal. Each one tried a different technique with varying results. Watch through to see what happened. This may be the final push you need to test drive a rainbow mane! How to: Take a Face Cast

Follow me on Patreon for exclusive content: https://www.patreon.com/KlairedeLys Yes, I can breathe. Welcome to a claustrophobe's worst nightmare, but I actually found it really relaxing. Want to see more? You could follow my blog? It's free! :D http://www.bloglovin.com/en/blog/2609935/klairedelys/follow After last weeks hand cast tutorial the perfect follow up is a face cast tutorial. Again I was very lucky to have Stuart Bray demonstrate the whole process, Stuart has worked on films like Gladiator, The Mummy and Shaun of the Dead, and if you're into special effects I highly recommend you check out his website for some great tutorials! I know a few people are like "eh? What's this for".....just wait ;) This face cast should be getting used in quite a few future tutorials on both channels. To see more of Stuarts work you can go here: -http://www.learnmakeupeffects.com/blog/ -http://www.youtube.com/stuartbray73 Thanks to Mandy for filming: http://www.youtube.com/Mandy "I sent a response on your blog, and maybe we need to put out some kind of bulletin as a lot of people didn't seem to watch the vid properly. "There is a worryingly large amount of people who seem to think people gladly suffocate for this process, but clearly this is not the case. The whole point is to attend to the nostrils FIRST so they are done and cleat BEFOTE covering the whole face. Then it is simply just breathing normally as you do anyway...that is what those two holes in your nose are for, after all. If someone cannot breath normally through the nose, then you can work around aslightly open mouth. This is not ideal as it can cause theower lip to pull down, and drooling to occur. I never, ever use straws as they distort the nostril shape, can become dislodged and if knocked carve grooves into the nasal passage. Should a nostril ever be covered, simply blow through the nose to clear, or open the mouth (the material is still fluid at this point). Once the alginate sets, it no longer moves and so cannot block anything. Having done literally thousands of lifecasts, including many actors, I assure you this is safe if you know the materials and can control it. In answer to the many times asked question 'how do you breathe?, the answer is 'through the nostrils'. I think it is also more disconcerting to watch than to have it done. I know how it feels, as I have had everything cast myself many times over, including full head and body casts! This is one of the many processes which need to be done well to produce good prosthetics, and like many things, the final result on screen does not reveal the skills and amount of effort required to produce it. The lenses I use are coloured contacts, NOT for my vision. They're meant for cosplaying, dressing up or just a one-off. They are not meant to be worn constantly.

You should ALWAYS check with an optician before purchasing lenses just to make sure they're ok.

If you have a history of eye problems, if your eyes are different shapes, of if the lenses just don't feel right DO NOT USE THEM.

Always keep your tools clean. I always wash the tweezers after using them and make sure that the lens cases are super clean.

I learned at lot of new tips and tricks for this video from Earaness, check him out his makeup is awesome!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJ2m8Bi3LVE&feature=related

I've said this in the video but I just want to say it again, ALWAYS check with an optician before doing anything with your eyes.
